About the Measure
Proposition 1 — the Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026 — is on the November 3 ballot. It invests $11.25 billion to build and preserve safe, affordable homes for California's veterans, seniors, persons with disabilities, and working families — with strict accountability, transparency, and without raising taxes.
Prop 1 fast-tracks more than 40,000 already-approved, shovel-ready affordable homes across California, expands homeownership, and honors the veterans who served us.
